heart handmade

I borrowed the above image from Heart Handmade, where a couple of my clothing designs were recently featured. Heart Handmade is an awesome new blog that highlights all sorts of independent designers and crafters. The author, Marichelle, basically sorts through tons of crap on Etsy, finds the good stuff, and lays it out for us in adorable themed segments. It's what we've all been waiting for, isn't it? My favorite part is the Heart Lab, where the handmade process is dissected to give the readers an idea of everything that goes into creating certain pieces. Brilliant. I'm excited to announce that in a couple of weeks, Heart Handmade will be interviewing me and unveiling my spring/summer collection. I'll post a date when I have more information.

It is what we've been waiting for! I have a really hard time sorting through all the stuff on Etsy to find the stuff that is what I really like or am looking for. I'm all about getting a little bit of help with that.

It makes it so much easier to find nice handmade stuff.
Have you checked out N.E.E.T magazine? It's chalked full of handmade stuff and where to get them. www.nettmagazine.com
