my new seamstress

A few weeks ago I finally bit the bullet and hired a seamstress to help me with my work. Her name is Christy Berry. (I also hired an intern named Mallory.) You'll be hearing more about Christy in another month when my fall collection becomes available because she's designing a little something special for me.

Here are a few pictures that I took of Christy's personal work.

Christy not only sewed this dress but also printed the fabric using a linoleum block she carved.

Great work, love the printed fabric! And way to go Jenny, all legit with a staff and stuff!

Something about the photo of her at the sewing machine reminds me of River from 'Firefly/Serenity'...bad ass!
