wiksten holiday shop

I took photos for the Wiksten holiday collection on Friday, and now I'm sorting through the photos and getting ready for a shop update. I did the makeup and took the photos myself this time, and my sister Mindy did the model's hair. It was really fun, but I was pretty nervous because it was the first time I'd ever photographed a model. Not all of the pictures turned out great, but some of them weren't bad. It was definitely a learning experience for me, and I'm looking forward to doing it again.

The collection will be available in the shop on Wednesday, December 10. There will be tops, dresses, skirts, and scarves. Check back here for more pictures in the next few days.

Lovely!

How did you do the hair and what color lipstick (or whatever it is) is that?

Looks great Jenny. The red plaid with the blue scarf. I'm curious to know what lipstick color that is, too. So pretty! Can't wait for Wednesday.

Jenny, this is such a beautiful shot! Love the red lipstick too, and I can't wait to see the full plaid shirt. Did you knit the fingerless gloves?

hello jenny,
your catalog photographs have been catching my eye for a while ... and I wondered, what sort of camera do you use? Is it a digital one?
In any case your picture realy are delicious, colorfull, but not too much,

Beautiful photography! Very professional! Even the "real pros" have ones that don't come out well. I love your work and always your photographs... right down to that photo below of your feet in the leaves :)

Jenny!! they turned out beautiful. You should do all of your own picture taking/art directing/makeup. Amazing!
