the anticipation is killing me

from Wallace and Gromit's "A Close Shave"

This is me tonight, working myself into a knitting frenzy, tucked up on the couch with a heated blanket. Tomorrow is match day, and Joe isn't here. So I'm compulsively knitting. In fact, I have the whole back of this sweater almost done already. I feel like the only thing that will make me feel better right now is some homemade cookies, fresh out of the oven. I'm supposed to be trying to lose weight, but hey, I worked out for an hour today. So I'm going to make these. Jeez, I am SO nervous! I don't think I'll be able to sleep very well tonight. We're supposed to find out what residency Joe got around 8-9 am tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Good Luck in the morning! I hope you get what you wish for!

As for knitting, I just joined a group last week. They don't meet that often, but I am sure that you would be welcomed anytime. I can let you know the next time we will be getting together.
I will try and post pictures tomorrow of my cowl, I'm moving at a snails pace.

Best of luck Jenny and Joe! I will keep my fingers crossed that you end up wherever you want most to be, though I'm sure the two of you will make a happy life and home for yourselves wherever you are. Enjoy the snickerdoodles--they're delicious, and you deserve them!

Good luck! I can share from experience that you will likely learn to love wherever you end up, but I hope Joe gets placed in a spot where you would both be happy. And if you end up in Mlps, I will offer myself up as your first MN friend!

Good luck Jenny,
it will all work out!
Love the sweater, and it is flattering.
Just tracked down some buckled flat shoes after being inspired by those you featured on your Coton post but am a bit concerned they don't say 'hip and trendy' more 'green and hippy ish'.
I'll keep searching!

I'm crossing my needles for you! Your new sweater looks fabulous!! Can't wait to see your Kaari.

And good luck with the dieting. I am also feeling a little pudgy these days which people always scoff at but man, they don't understand, skinny chicks can get flabby in winter too!!

I will answer this so Jen doesn't have to. Unfortunately, I didn't match. We are still in limbo. No answers for now. As soon as we figure things out I am sure jen will post developments as they develope.

I just read an article about the match process. I don't know anyone personally who has been through that. It sounds really tough. I'm wondering if the current economic situation has made it even worse.

Good luck to you both!! Things will work out in no time, I'm sure. In the meantime, know your readers are thinking about you and sending good thoughts.

It will all work out in the long run, so try to keep that in perspective, and know that we're all rooting for you guys! Give us a sweater update when you can!
