ooh nice. i love the school lockers in the background of that one picture. you would love journal standard luxe in japan. i thought of you instantly when i walked in that store. the one in shinjuku has an entire floor of isabel marant.
These images are making me want a whole new wardrobe! I enjoyed reading all your posts since you've come 'back', although being so stressed is not fun. I really hope that everything works out well for you :)
Welcome back Jenny & Happy New Year! I missed your posts. The Japanese & the French- they kill me. Wonderful, thanks for posting this!
Just wanted to say too...wherever you and Joe end up...will be where you are supposed to be. Tomory & I moved to LA together because he got into grad school here. I never imagined or even wanted to live in LA...now I can't imagine my life without coming here. All the wonderful people I have met.Our beautiful home together. It was hard at first, but I feel blessed to be here. I know it will all work out for you!
*Iowa City isn't that bad...It's actually a great little city. I spent many of my teenage years there. Chicago is also wonderful- a lot going on in art, design- great museums and restaurants... :)
I love Tokyo style; I believe it is what many designers are emulating these days. And I must have that white dress! The dress over jeans is so Harajuku.
When my babies are all grown up & I can work again I am so going to get you to send me a list of awesome shoes - in fact I may just have to win Tattslotto & fly you over to Australia to do me a wardrobe! Love you work, your blog is very special & makes me yearn for a lovely & different wardrobe. Thanks for blogging your journey!

oh i love this store! it's definitely granny chic. the big plaid shawls are perfect, although i don't think i could do that on a daily basis.
