hi jenny, i am in the market for a serger/overlock machine and read your review on your bernina. did you look at the 5 thread 1300mdc? is this a necessity or is the machine you've got do fine? can you sew hems on yours or do you have to go to your sewing machine? also did you try juki or viking huskvarna? i've read some reviews and am going in person to try out these three brands. price is not an issue but i don't want to buy more than i need. i thought i would ask your opinion since it sounds like you've done your research. help. barbara brown
i wanted to thank you for linking to that japanese site, coton. thank you or curse you. i can't stop looking at the pictures. it is semi-heaven (pure heaven would be access to the clothing).
I'm with "editor" regarding COTON. Oh, my, the time I've spent gazing at those wonderful clothes and combos of textures and color. I even tried a couple of translation apps to see if I could figure out how to mail order, for clearly mail order is possible. None of them made any sense; all quite literal, missed every idomatic expression (if the Japanese have such things). Also, hope all is well...been a while since you posted, though I have learned to visit you and your family at flickr. Breathe deeply; it's spring.

Those booties are so sweet. I just discovered your lovely blog and I am enjoying your creative posts!
Is the baby yours?
no, it's not my baby! i probably won't have babies for a few more years if things go according to plan.
CUTE!!
more babies = more booties.. .that's my kind of equation :)
