Just another night in my neighborhood...street fairs, beautiful sunsets, and watching "Reality Bites" in the park with hundreds of other people. I wish summer would never end.
I love this movie! Looks like a good neighborhood. My little city hosts a "movie in the park" every Friday right on Lake Superior. Its pretty magical at night!
Not just any street fair, either. That's the annual San Giglio festival!

It's funny -- when I saw your blog post I remembered how while I was sitting watching the movie I thought a good blog post title about the evening would be, "Reality Bites bites." But I didn't watch enough of it to know if it was good or bad! ;) We left and went to get ice cream at Penny Licks about 30 minutes into it.
i loved that movie too! and winona ryder before she went crazy and started stealing stuff. watching the movie last night, i still think her hair and outfits are really cute even now. maybe it's because the 90's are back? also, her skin looks PERFECT in that movie.
I love that film so much! I love Winona's clothesbin it and her hair and I totally live Ethan too. In London we have outdoor films at Somerset House, right in the middle of the city in an old courtyard , right by the Thames. Bliss .
Remember how dark it all seemed when Joe didn't get the job he'd hoped for. Imgaine if he had. You wouldn't be having these wonderful summer nights in your new neighborhood. We seldom see it at the time, but everything happens for a reason. Love and best wishes and happiness to you both, expat39520
From Ally (again): Actually, you know what -- get the 3-pack! :-) All of Morris Engel's movies are magical (though I prefer the first two): http://www.amazon.com/Films-Morris-Engel-Little-Fugitive/dp/B0014D5QRE/ref=pd_cp_d_1
Recommending them to you gave me the push I needed to order them myself!
I just watched that movie again a few weeks ago too - when I was a teenager I always wanted my post-university experience to be reality bites - sadly, it has not! But I agree, Lelaina's outfits are rad - I would wear every one 15 years on...

What a great neighborhood. My small town does concerts on the bay. I should try to make it to one one of these days.

I have a little award thing for you on my blog too.
I LOVE that movie. I was semi-obsessed with Winona Ryder in this movie and copied her hairstyle, clothes etc when it came out
