The Rifle Paper Co. online shop opened yesterday just as I was getting into quite the holiday mood. Perfect timing. I purchased my Christmas cards for the year, and I can't wait to get them in the mail. (I'm not telling which ones I got so that I don't spoil the surprise.) I know they're going to be beautiful, so beautiful that I'll have to make sure to not get too stingy with them. I wanted the wrapping paper too (I mean, just how amazing do those gifts look?!), but I had to draw the line somewhere. Is anyone else starting to feel Christmas-y?

oh what a darling store! make sure you keep one or two of those cards for yourself (it's not stingy, it's just the right thing to do!)
These cards are great and I also love the packaging

Oh I almost didn't draw the line yesterday when shopping in Anna's shop! I'm totally in the Christmas mood. Last weekend I bought almost all of my gifts! I can't wait to bake up all my cookies and see my friends and family back home!
officially feeling the holiday spirit too! i put on some rosemary clooney on sunday afternoon + sipped on egg nog with brandy. (i know it gives some people the icks but i think it's lovely)
I bought my Christmas cards & gift wrap from Rifle, too! :)
totally completely Christmas-y!! and even more when you have kids! :D
Heck yes! Man I love Christmas. I always buy my wrapping paper from Kmart--their Martha Stewart line is ridiculously amazing and dirt cheap, the only problem is choosing. I went for a simple red and white gingham print, but I might have to go back for the silver and blue penguins... Ah, is there anything she CAN'T do??
no way! i was just in the middle of ordering the postcards!!!!
i'm totally in the mood for christmas. this year i made a point of not listening to christmas music until at least after halloween and it think it helped. especially in my marriage. doug always wants to strangle me by the time christmas finally gets here. i do know that this next month is going to fly by though. i hope i get most of what i want to done.
you ordered the postcards, elly?! i love those. i didn't get those though. i hope you send me one!
i don't doubt that too much christmas music could ruin a marriage! joe feels the same way as doug.
the month before christmas is my absolute favorite time but it always gets so busy, and i never get everything done. every year i hope to do better.
ha! Like you and Elly, I have to keep my Christmas music on my ipod headphones until after Thanksgiving - and it's still a measure of his patience that he doesn't leave in a huff every December!
and yes, I am SO with you. Can't wait for the quarter to be over so that I can start making presents; I'd really rather be doing that than researching and writing seminar papers right now - it's so hard to concentrate!
My favorite part about the holidays, Holiday Cards!!
Christmas spirit? Check!
these are so lovely! i started writing my holiday cards this year too, it's so nice to do something "old-fashioned" this time of year, in the age of the overflowing email inbox!
I need some peace. A hot bath, etc...and no pain would be nice. Then, maybe I'll get into the spirit. Oh, I sound so depressing, right? I did put up our eco-friendly IKEA tree the other day (reminds me of a tree out of a Dr. Seuss book) and we have a cute Lionel train around (not very eco-friendly). Also, put some fake pine down the banister with some bows...all in all, nice decor - not too much, not too little. Now, for the outside, before the snow begins to fall later this week. (No fair, I really want to go to you and Lena's sale - a bit difficult when I live in MN).
