guess what i'm doing tonight?
I'm toatlly watching Rudolph on tv while finishing my "secret Santa" present. I've been working on one of Alicia Paulson's adorable deer ornaments, and I'm almost finished. I just need to stuff it and sew it closed with some rick-rack for hanging.

How funny-- I just bought the pattern for those ornaments last night!
sounds like a perfect way to spend the first days of december. my mom used to make christmas ornaments like this--now i'm feeling nostalgic!
I am so sad I don't have a tv!!! I just posted about my love for this movie, tear. If I wasn't doing a shop update tonight I'd come crash your party.
Oh, I love Posie Gets Cozy! I haven't checked out Alicia's blog in ages, but when I was working full time, her beautiful posts got me through many a dull day behind my computer (yours too, by the way ;-) ). She has such an inspiring story of taking a completely different path in her life than the one she originally started on. I love this little felt reindeer. You have great patience to do all of the tiny appliques!
no way! sounds so perfect, and we'll be doing the same, just miles and miles away :( but i'm making your soup to eat while we watch, so it's almost like you're here with us!
i love that beautiful ornament. it's so adorable.
how cute is that?! my dad switched to the movie on tv (back home with the parentals, ugh), but I went upstairs to take a long bath and watch It's Always Sunny instead...wish I were in more of the holiday spirit...where's the snow?! that would do the trick...
I purchased her patterns from last year - the ice skate, the cocoa mug and the gingerbread girl - they are still in my craft closet half done. Maybe I am just a really slow stitcher, but I just couldn't seem to get these done in time!! Glad to see you are making good headway! Please show us all three when you are done? xo
Those ornaments are adorable, I'm going to go buy the pattern now!
Thanks!
Ohhhhhh!!! I am in love with this!! I'm going to purchase her patterns. Thanks for showing this!!!
Love it! I also had a reindeer moment:)
