sachet christmas ornaments

A set of two handmade Christmas ornaments in the shop now.  These are made from linen and cotton Japanese fabrics and stuffed with wool and cloves.  They smell so delicious, just like Christmas.  The fronts are hand-embroidered by me, and the backs are made from contrasting fabrics.  The loops for hanging are made from Nani Iro gauze.

This will be my last shop update until the new year.  Orders must be placed today (Friday, December 18) to ensure delivery before Christmas.  I'm leaving tomorrow for a family vacation in Mexico!  So excited.  Mmmm, enchiladas, margaritas, and beaches, here I come.

Wow! A nice holiday in Mexico sounds lovely! I hope you get out before all of the snow, but you are in NYC, not DC (they are woefully inept down here when it comes to snow removal). I miss all of the snow in NY (I'm originally from NY.). :-)

Have a wonderful Christmas!

Hugs,

Melissa

Melissa- I just moved to DC from CT last night and spent an hour stuck on Wisconsin at 3am, only a mile from my house. I can't believe how terrrible they are about snow here.
