I've been teaching a sewing class at Lena Corwin's studio, and last night was the final class. I'm so sad to see it end! I really wanted to take some photos of the finished garments, but I forgot to bring my camera. It was very satisfying to see the students' completed work because everyone did a fabulous job. I'm so proud of all of them. The classes were such fun that I'm really looking forward to teaching another one in a couple of months. Look for future class announcements here and over at Lena's blog.

Do you know of any similar sewing classes in Los Angeles? I would love to take one!
Hollye at Sew L.A. (http://sew-la.com/classes.htm) told me she is going to teach my skirt pattern in a class. You might want to get in touch with her!
the class is sold out...bummer. thanks for the reference though, i'll have to check out the rest of their calendar!
Ooh, I'd really love to take the class! Do you know what month the class will be given?
I think February, but I don't know the dates yet.
One of the students in that class chiming in: Jenny was a great teacher, despite all her attempts to fake being a mean one, hehe :) I love my new shirt!
Jenny, I had another idea on the train ride home last night--maybe with the one-day workshop of techniques, what you could do is make a series of videos demonstrating the different steps to your pattern and then give those out as DVDs for home reference or something. It'd be pretty low cost to do with a Flip and some software. Just a thought.
oh wow, i just read you were in montana, i live there! whereabouts did you visit?
Your blog is such a breath of fresh air, so delightful and joyous! A real source of inspiration, thank you for your many morsels of goodness.
If you have a moment or two, please amuse yourself with my new creation. I would greatly appreciate the brief moment of adoration and any suggestions.
