In my daydream I'm wearing this dress, and it's seventy-five degrees outside. In reality, I spent the day outside in a slush blizzard, wet and cold (long story). Now I'm home, wrapped up in leggings, a sweatshirt, two pairs of socks, and an electric heated blanket. No way I'm going outside again until this thing is over!

Great dress! I really like the pattern, it's really simple and somehow vintage-like.
It's also really slushy here in Montreal. Boo!

Jenny, I left such a similar comment on Elly's Flickr photo of this dress! When she posted it I immediately envisioned myself wearing it while running down some narrow cobblestone street in a European city with the sun shining on my back. I feel your pain...the weather is atrocious in NYC today. I've been trudging around all day for school, and am so ready for the day to be over so I can change out of these wet socks and eat pizza and watch Jim and Pam have their baby. Stay warm!!!
That's a cute dress, plus it's a really subtle print I love it! As for the blizzard, I'm actually jealous because I love snow and wrapping myself with lots of blankets. Stay warm :)
I feel you, I am all layered up too! that dress is adorable, i love the little triangles in the pattern.
Cute pattern!
(and nice blog!)

I second that...this winter weather is NOT COOL...over it...and I wish I had an electric heated blanket...I just have the old ones passed down from my grandmother that don't have the cords to hook up to the outlets...but I find them kitschy cool regardless...stay warm tmrw!
That dress is adorable! Very Jane Austen-esque. Makes me want to braid my hair!
Are you braving the New York blizzard too? This city's weather is crazy today!
i feeeeeel ya girl! i was out running errands and sloshing around most of the day too, but i remedied that with some hot homemade chicken soup when i got home. so nice and cozy now!
word, you da bitch yo.
(listening to girl talk as i get going this morning. so filthy. so, so filthy.)
i think girl talk is hilarious! i love it. joe can't stand it though.
i'm totally with you! its like an adhd kid on speed, but that's kind of what i love about it. joe, who doesn't love a biggie smalls/tiny dancer mashup, i mean, COME ON!
also, i'm pretty sure girl talk has made it onto "what white people like."
oh now, that girl talk guy makes fergie tolerable.
i know! but when joe decides to arbitrarily hate something, there is no swaying him.
Oh I am too slow, the lovely dress is already sold out.
May I ask where I could find the background textile (or wallpaper?) you are standing at in these photos? I love those black flags!
Stay warm, the spring is not far away. We'll see.
po, these are not my photos or my dress. they're from elly fales/green olives design. but i do know the fabric is from ikea.
The print on the dress is so dainty.
