Since I started blogging at Habit, I've been taking a lot more photos. Because I only blog one of them a day over there, I end up with quite a few leftovers. Mostly they're mundane photos, but that's what I like about them. There's something so comforting in acknowledging the details of daily habit. It's nice to slow down and take a look around.

Love the apple glass!!! (and your blog:)!
You have a beautiful collection of mugs! I always find that when I look through a camera at things that might otherwise seem mundane, they take on a new life. I think you are right that there is something about that process of really noticing something to capture it on film that forces you to acknowledge the specialness of it.
these are beautiful! love the last one, there is a sunny feeling to it!
really lovely. i think there's something so comforting about focusing on a single thing when life goes by too fast.
mundane - bring it on!!! i love these too.

I love all these, especially the tray of mugs. such a cute idea!
Nothing wrong with the mundane, especially when it contains moments of such beauty! I love being able to take pleasure in the smallest things. What do we have if we don't have the day to day?!
