tee perfection

I wear t-shirts a LOT, so I'm always on the lookout for sophisticated ones.  I tend to avoid tees with writing or slogans--I want to look like a grownup, not a college freshman.  (No offense to you college freshmen, but I haven't been one for ten years!)  Tees that have graphic prints, stripes, or ones that are plain and slouchy work best for me.  These tees from Alternative Apparel are perfect in my opinion.  There are so many great shapes and colors to choose from that it would be impossible to buy just one.

I have the one on the bottom right. It's awesome, but after three or four wears the neck is already a little bit wonky. Luckily it was super expensive. That top left one was not on their site when I bought mine, too bad!

I agree-- even witty slogans lose their wit when they appear on a tee. It just looks... juvenile. These are beautiful though, especially the floral print one, which is rather unique-looking.

love them all!

the blue one on the top right hand side is the exact shape (floaty, longer sides, scoop neck) of one i just got at H&M...mine is cream with peachy horizontal stripes and the regular price was CAD$6.95! That means way cheaper in Stateside! Woohoo! They are new for spring!

You should have a look at "Our Fave Top" free pattern on Tessuti's Blog (Australia)- it's quite like the top right photograph.

Those tshirts are lovely. I agree with you about the slogan variety, and I have no wish to pay to be somebody else's advertising billboard either, thankyou!
I love your blog, you have a wonderful sense of style. Can't wait to see your spring collection.

My boyfriend will be mad, as he constantly discourages the slouch, but I want all of these.

the one on top right would be perfect to hide wide hips like mine! ;)

They are nice. I've been in love with oversixed t-shirts with longer sides for a while.
