mmm, poppy seeds always make me think of summer! that plate is too cute.
oh great! love poppy seeds.but i only use olive oil for everything (and when i make brownies...no one knows the difference...;)
Oh man, I made some lemon olive oil cake awhile back. Once I figured out I *needed* a hand-mixer, it was heavenly!
wow, it sounds so tasty! thanks for sharing
oh, I do love the texture of this! I discovered it with this recipe by Celine: http://havecakewilltravel.com/2007/08/12/lemony-french-cake/ and now I am making it at least once a week!
This cake is scrumptious!
Thanks for sharing! I love this cake. I didn't have lemons, so I used orange with a pinch of cinnamon instead, but this is a great cake! I love that they use olive oil instead of butter...
ooo, definitely making this. thank you!
Wow this looks yummy and reminds me of a pudding I ate in a posh restaurant (The OXO Tower restaurant) in London in May; an olive oil and black olive roulade with cinnamon sauce. I keep meaning to try out something sweet and olivey for my kids (who could live off olives) maybe this would be a good place to start.
that looks amazing, and i have been dying to go to sunday suppers!
New follower here! I am loving this recipe - I'm trying it this week!! And the poppy seed addition is genius!- http://abbyartnphoto.blogspot.com/
