Here are the Wiksten + Mociun pieces I made for Lena's sale--simple cut out sleeve tops, tanks tops, and tank dresses. I am sold out as of now but plan on making a few more. I have a very limited amount of fabric, so there won't be a waiting list for these. Once they're gone, they're gone.
I haven't been blogging much because I've had kind of a rough past couple of weeks. I've just been keeping an impossible schedule and not getting much sleep. One day I went into work and worked for 36 hours straight! I beat Dr. Joe, who worked for 29 hours during his own work shift. Well, the consequences of overworking have taught me a lesson. I have tendonitis in my right thumb so bad that I'm not allowed to use my hand until it heals, meaning no work for a few days (or weeks, yikes). So all I can do now is sit around and think about the pain.
I have about 300 photos on my camera from the last couple of weeks to sort through, and I'll be posting some of them this week. Look for photos of Lena's sale tomorrow.

they are really beautiful. it's probably a blessing and curse to have to work that hard!
Ouch! Hope your thumb gets better soon!
whoa, 36 hours straight?! crazy! get lots of rest and i hope your thumb heals soon!
overworking does odd things to your body, I hope you feel better soon! The sleeve tops are looking great!
those pieces are wonderful Jenny..I hope you thumb is feeling better soon, also that a bit of rest can be quiet good...I look forward to seeing some of your images...
you poor thing, that sucks..take it easy. your work with caitlin is really beautiful.
these are so great Jenny! hope the thumb gets better soon. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to wait for it to heal.
i got to the sale at noon on the dot and they were already gone so i didn't get to see them there unfortunately, glad i get to see them finally though!
these tops are beautiful! the fabrics work so perfectly with your simple designs.
hope the thumb feels better soon! sounds like a forced break might be a good thing for a bit however. :)
I wish I could have gone to the sale. Wiksten + Mociun are looking goooood together.
I hope your thumb heals fast! What a bummer.
Wow! how is it possible to work for 36 hours straight? without sleeping? I hope you get rested and refreshed and your thumb heals swiftly!
get well, jenny! just don't attempt to hitchhike anywhere with your thumb out of commission.
Oh man, tendinitis, that's hardcore! I had a similar problem with my right middle finger from crocheting too many doilies. I now limit myself to one per week ;) Feel better!
those shirts are too cool, i was hoping to snag one but got there too late, bummer!
i hope you get better soon-- i completely know how that can be. i have a good friend in his intern year and he tells me that i work longer hours than he does. enjoy your break (as much as you can with an injury :T).
love the new things!!!!
36 hours....wow!!!
hope the pain goes away and you can enjoy your rest!
all the best
dude, sewing does crazy stuff to your body. especially if you are really driving yourself non stop. i am just shaking off all the muscle cramps from the past month, i have so (or should i say "sew", haha) been there. rest up and watch some fun tv and eat some comfort food! i hope you feel better soon jenny :)
ooh, take care jenny. hope you feel better really soon.
Ouch! Suffering for your art, not so fun... I hope your thumb is healing sooner rather than later :)
1) I am incapable of pulling all-nighters, since I pussied out the one time I got close, so I cannot understand how you stayed up for 36 hours straight, or how your boo did 29 hours. I take at least one nap a day. 2) eeeeeeee, poor girl! tendonitis?? how awful. 3) you're killing me here with these new designs; I can't imagine how quickly the will sell out, since Caitlin's prints + your designs are too much. TOO MUCH.
Oh gosh, these look just beautiful.
Take care of yourself, and get better soon!
Damn! 36 hours??
Well, at least you have a doctor to look after you :) (and your sister is an RN, too, right?).
I hope you feel better soon, the collaboration looks wonderful; I am not surprised!
Getting a good night's sleep is vital to your well-being.Try not to overwork yourself.Take good care !
I'm sorry to hear about your thumb! Make sure to kick back & watch lots of Arrested Development. I hope the sale went really well, in addition to the major success of selling out all the Wiksten + Mociun immediately...! ps: I'm reading The Corrections. amazing. thank you.
these were so pretty in person, jenny. feel better soon!
oh, tendonitis is the worst! i get it alot from making my animals and working at the jewelry studio. take care!!
meanwhile, i will be obsessing over these tops. i'm loving the top left one in particular.
