tova patterns, here they come!

lissa's test fabric

making wiksten packaging materials

taking tova top instruction photos

My intern Lissa and I have been very hard at work getting the Tova patterns ready to ship.  Lissa even stayed until after 10 PM on a Friday night!  (She's an angel, you should know.)  We've been making stickers and note cards for packaging, taking instruction photos, sewing test samples, and folding, folding, folding.  You name it, we've done it.  I'll get these patterns out at the end of the week even if it kills me.

A few folks have been a little confused about the ship date.  The Tova Top Pattern preorder description stated that patterns would be shipped at the end of October.  October 29 is the exact ship date.  I set a long lead time on the preorders this time in order to keep my sanity.  So look for your patterns in the mail during the next week or so!

I didn't order one of these patterns but I think it's great that you helped your future self by setting that long lead time. My fingers are crossed that you don't get too tired of all the work that goes into putting out these patterns and keep releasing a few at a time...or perhaps downloadable versions? Particularly for larger size ;)

Oh I really like the atmosphere in your studio... and the patterns (I mean on the fabrics) look marvelous! Good luck :)

I'm sooo excited for my pattern to arrive! And very happy that you were realistic with your abilities and gave yourself the time you (and Lissa) need.

Any chance you will offer this patter again sometime in the future (after, of course, you're finished with this whole shipment)? I'd love to see more of this pattern!

I'm so excited! I'd completely forgotten I'd ordered one so it's a nice surprise.

Jenny, I have to say that I absolutely love your blog! It's really inspiring. So much so I've picked up my crocheting hook again and have sent my (30 year old Singer) sewing machine off for a service. Thank you! You always make my day!

Hi Jenny

Am so looking forward to trying out this pattern.

I sent you a email with a (sorry, rather late in the day) shipping request. I just wanted to mention it in case it goes straight through to your junk mail box.

Many thanks

Sarah

Hi, I have your Tova pattern and am wondering if you would consider putting up visual tutorials for sewing up the pattern. I am having a little difficulty understanding the collar attachment.

Thank you.
