pip-squeak chapeau sweater

pip-squeak chapeau sweater

I'm so obsessed with this perfect sweater from Pip-squeak Chapeau.  I love how it's styled in these photos--the outfits are simple and beautiful.  And doesn't the model have great hair?  Ever since I saw this lookbook at the New York Gift Fair back in August, I haven't been able to get Pip-squeak Chapeau out of my head.  The store is near my office, but I've only been once.  I need to plan another trip there soon.

...and have you seen the alpaca shrug, with that big, cozy, drapey turtleneck? I can't get it out of my head.

Ooh, looks so cozy. I love her hair - just tried to get a similar haircut but it didn't turn out quite as cute... :)

hi jenny! knowing how much you like to knit, why not make your own by modifying this great pattern: http://quinceandco.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_3&products_id=26 . love the styling though!

Oh, yes, I was just going to say: I'm sure you know this already, but Elly's sweater (and hair!) looks JUST like this one--gorgeous! http://garmenthouse.blogspot.com/2010/11/kaari-sweater.html

karen, i was just talking about that one the phone with elly! i might try to make something similar using the kaari pattern since i've made that sweater before and really liked it.

dude, I'm really digging those pants! I finally got a vintage mccall's pattern and I am SO MAKING drop-crotch pants (even if I am 30 and in academia).

ha!

do post pictures if you make the sweater yourself - I always think handmade is better, anyway and you are mad talented, Jenny!

I have been looking for a gray sweater just like that for some time now with no luck. This one might be it! Thanks for the tip.
