What would Diane do?  (That's my mom.)  Diane would make a lasagna for a friend that just had a baby, so that's what I did.  It's the Midwestern way.  Used this delicious recipe, and Sarkilahti supplied the salad and her favorite soup.  What a precious little baby boy, with a precious family and home to boot.  Congrats, Lena!

a homecooked meal really is the best post-baby present a person can receive! plus, you get to hang out with a baby, a win win scenario.

sounds like a great receipe ! i just don't cook the pasta before. Béchamels taste good, but not always light. I think mushrooms could be also great with a little garlic and zucchinis.
