So glad to hear you're enjoying the thrifting bounty! Iowa City is a great place to be. Jealous of your finds, especially that lovely vase.

love love love the rugs!! can't wait to see how you decorate your abode!
a great day! i recently found the perfect lil navaho rug for my bathroom, too.
that first rug looks amazing! i miss that stuff. thrifting in nyc unfortunately isn't very ''thrifty'' !
Lovely finds! I especially like the rugs featured. Oh, and your orange toe nails are perfect for summertime!thistle handmade
oooo, textiles and rug are little jems. antique stores are the best...
I love the colors in the first rug, but it's probably South American since there are no llamas in Navajo country... at least none that are native. (Just being a stickler).
What great finds!! Those rugs are gorgeous and I love the little vase!It was a loooong time since I've came across such gemsin an op shop! Should thrift some more I guess.
they're all lovely, but the llama rug slays me. nice work!p.s. i'm wearing the same nail color right now. perfect summer shade.
The rugs are amazing!
I'm forever looking for cheap rugs and cushion covers in funky colours and aztek prints like these ones - they are soo expensive around here! I ended up bringing some back from Greece in my suitcase on holiday. That's not weird, right? :)xxxwww.flossyblossom.blogspot.com
You're right, Sasha. The tag said Navajo, and I guess I just didn't think about it! That makes sense though. It does look South American now that you say that.
jon and i spotted that llama rug before we walked out! so glad you got it. looking gooood. yesterday was so much fun! xo
i want them all! and your toe nails too :) love the colour!
The textiles and rug are incredible!
i used to live in iowa city. its a wonderful place! the beer room at dirty johns on market is amazing! and across the street there are two vintage shops that i always hit up when i visit friends. My favorite is Artifacts.where did you go to get your beautiful finds?
