I admit it. I'm a Christmasaholic. I love Christmas music! And snow! It really is the best time of the year.
Joe has to work the day before and after Christmas, and thus my whole family is coming to stay with us this year. Joe and I built an 8 foot table and installed a new light fixture in our dining room in anticipation of the event. My living and dining rooms have been empty for the past six months, so it's incredibly nice to now have a place to socialize. We've been enjoying sitting at the table and reading, eating homemade dinners, talking by candle light and having friends over. Can't wait until my family's here so we can play Uno around the table.

That table is amazing. I can't believe you guys built it! One day I'm going to have a proper (northern hemisphere) christmas.
I freaking love Christmas, TOO! Nice table! Hope you have lots of fun memories around it this Christmas.
What a nice place!! It's so different from NYC!! I guess playing boardgames on Xmas day is an international thing!*
I love christmas too! I love your minimalistic setup, I hope my place will be as clear some day, just white with specks of red :) Love the plate with little blue birds on it.
The light fixture is great, and I love that table! Good job to both of you on such a wonderful creation. It must be a nice place to gather. Enjoy your Christmas and your family's visit!
Christmas is the best! An excuse for baking, buying pretty ribbons and wrapping paper! Adore those felt horse decorations by the way, really sweet! x
I'm right there with you. Christmas really IS the best time of the year : ) i love it!
Oh my gosh, you guys built that? It looks great in there, so clean and fresh. Lucky you guys have snow, we have been having record breaking high temps (like 60s!).

my name is kay wang, and i too, am a christmasholic. there is no other holiday that gets me as excited as this one, and i can't wait to spend my first christmas in 14 years back on the east coast where there's real snow and freezing cold weather (vs. 70 degree "christmas" in la).
your house looks great! i love all the natural wood and white paint. so fresh.
Your home looks lovely - super cool table! Have a wonderful Christmas!
Jenny! the table is so pretty! I'm so happy we got to see it. And I love the little red birdie ! Happy, happy holidays to you and yours!

So so beautiful, I love it Jenny!! I miss that damn wreath that stayed on your mannie in the studio all of January:)
i love your clean, scandinavian style of holiday (and home) decorating. i'm sure you will host a great christmas.
your place is so pretty, jenny! you really have made it a cozy space. i love the new table! that's awesome you guys made it! love the wreath too! i cannot WAIT for christmas! i'm so looking forward to going home to celebrate with everyone. we're going to have a bunch of christmases. jed and i are celebrating on saturday just the two of us. then we are going home and having christmas with both of our families and then at grandma's. it'll be full, that's for sure! but i can't get enough of christmas, so i'm okay with that! hope you have a fantastic time with your family. i always get excited when my family comes to visit me or when i get to host a party. not that i'm really all that great at it, but the idea always sounds fun. merry christmas!!
i love uno! recently, our family has been playing a lot of taboo and cranium at get togethers - i highly recommend :)
I have those plates! I found them while thrifting...what a coincidence.
Your table is beautiful! Has me thinking we need to get started on one of our own. That last image is so perfectly winter/christmas.
you're so lucky to have a nice family that is not-so-far away. enjoy the holiday!
i do too!
since i didn´t have much time to decorate our home this year due to sad events in our family, i really enjoy pictures of lovely homes like yours.
