In the shop now: the Marguerite Dress in sizes Small and Medium. There are only 2 in each size. This dress was meant to be released mid-summer, but that never happened due to my busy schedule. As such, the original price $265 has been reduced to $150. It's a perfect lightweight comfortable summer dress but could also be great in the fall with ankle boots and a cardigan. I've been wearing mine a lot this summer (see above photo) because it's just one of those easy dresses I automatically grab for in my wardrobe. Mine was the first sample, so the buttons are different. The fabric is so awesome--it just gets even softer and more rumpled (in a good way) when you wash it.
I've been really inspired by women makers and artists, and this dress was named after Marguerite Friedlaender-Wildenhain, a Bauhaus potter. I made the pattern for this dress a couple of years ago, but this picture of her gave me the idea to make it for the shop in a white fabric. I love white dresses so much.
The last of the Shabd and Erin Considine pieces are marked way down in the shop too, and I have Object + Totem tumblers back in stock. All accessories are 20% off for the next week with code 20OFF.
P.S. Sophia seems to be doing pretty well on her meds! She's hanging in there. Thanks for all your well-wishes and concern.

I think you captured the spirit of Marguerite's original dress perfectly. And I love the fabric!
Glad to hear Sophia is doing better. I was wondering about her.
Perfect summer dress, and a cute pic of you Jenny :-)

A lovely, simple dress. I'm glad Sophia is doing well. Animals can be amazing sometimes, especially cats! :-)

thanks for sharing some of your inspiration! As a total layperson, it's so interesting to see more of your process / where your ideas come from.

it's a super nice dress ;)
Such an EASY, pretty dress.
Any chance of making of pattern of this dress - it surely would be as popular as your TOVA top. Also those of us in the southern hemisphere would love to make one for our summer!
How cute! A little pricey for me though :(
I'd LOVE to see this in a downloadable pattern! I feel like I could make this dress in every fabric and color for all seasons and make it my uniform!
splendid and grand.
It is a beautiful dress :) I'd love to buy a pattern if you ever decide to release them. I have the tank top pattern and it is a delight to make!
Sophia, that dress looks so gorgeous yet so simple. xo
